  Let's review the duties of being an au pair
 

1. Help family members (mainly children) learn foreign languages;

2. Help them understand foreign culture through daily communication and act as cultural ambassadors;

3. Assisted the host parents to take care of children's daily life, and acted as elder brother/sister;

4. Share the responsibility for some simple housework as a family member;

5. Cook foreign speciality and let the host family taste western food at home;

6. Accompany those host children to study and assist them with their homework (especially in English);
